Collier Building Specialties was founded in 1966 by William W. Collier with his wife, Janet. The new company acted as manufacturer's representatives in the infancy of the building specialty trade. As new products were developed, Collier Building Specialties was in the forefront of their promotion and often worked with the manufacturers on the development of new products. In 1984, Ronald E. Holden joined Collier Building Specialties and subsequently became Bill's partner and the company's President. These great leaders are no longer with us, but their philosophy of life and business, "always do the right thing," will always drive the company.
